This experience gives YOU the chance to handle and fly several different species of birds of prey from Hawks, Falcons, Owls and Eagles. Falconry is open to all most all age groups and abilities so why not give it a go and book now and have the thrill and excitement of having birds of prey flying to your gloved hand while taking in the amazing countryside Wales has to offer.


This experience last approximately 90 minutes

  • £45 per Adult

We recommend appropriate footwear. Our experiences are held in the beautiful Welsh countryside over meadows and woodland. All vouchers have a 6 month expiry date.

Here you will be treated to a unique experience that gives YOU the chance to handle and fly several different species of birds of prey from Hawks, Falcons, Owls and Eagles. Falconry is open to all most all age groups and abilities so why not give it a go and book now and have the thrill and excitement of having birds of prey flying to your gloved hand while taking in the amazing countryside Wales has to offer.

Please note, during the experience you will be walking in amongst the giant oak trees that surround our lakes. Please remember it can get muddy so boots or wellies are advisable.

Personal bird of prey experiences (60 minutes)

On this experience you will be given your own Harris Hawk  to fly while being accompanied by an experienced falconer. You can enjoy the countryside while experiencing the thrill of having your bird fly from tree to tree, post to post and to your gloved fist. If enhancing your walk in the countryside appeals to you then is for you.

All our experiences offer you the chance to take photographs of our birds.

This private experience, which is run by our falconers, is dedicated to getting that perfect photograph. 

If you have a passion for birds/birds of prey, then this course could be for you.

 

This experience, offering both static shots and birds in flight, this is all set in the amazing countryside of Carmarthenshire. 

 This experience can be tailored to suit anyone with a camera and is suitable for almost all ages and abilities.

 

£75 per person

Private photographic experience includes:-

  • 2 hours with our birds and falconer
  • Parking at Gelli Aur Country Park

This experience is a great opportunity for someone who is either not sure about birds of prey but still wants to give it a go or someone who is looking for a shorter experience but still wants to handle and fly these amazing birds (handle two birds and fly one)

They will accompany you on your experience and will take pictures of you holding/flying the birds in some of the most outstanding countryside in Carmarthenshire.

You will receive at least 5+ pictures of your experience as well as being able to take your own photographs.
